• Recording/Engineering & Production -- As a former staff producer/engineer at one of the largest studios in the area, Triad Studios, and with more than 20 years experience in producing and engineering demos out of his home studio, Steve Sherrard is qualified to handle any of your engineering and production needs.  If you are unclear about exactly what an engineer or producer does, check out our Production & Engineering page, or contact Steve at DBAR Productions.  He will be happy to explain the roles that the engineer and producer play in demo and album projects, and how important a qualified producer can be for artists who don't have much studio experience (and even for those that do).

• Music Composition/Arranging -- Have you written a great song, but don't have a band or the musical skills yourself to accompany yourself?  Then DBAR Productions can help.  One of our specialties is composing and arranging music for singer/songwriters and other solo artists.  Steve can compose and perform most of the parts himself, or can chart out the parts and hire the session players needed if the parts are too complicated for him to play, or if the song requires a live band feel.  Steve has worked with many different artists to compose and arrange music for everything from basic songwriter demos to full arrangements with top session players for album projects.
